Content Description The collection primarily contains items from Doolan's schooling at the Louisville Industrial School of Reform. These items are a book of Stephen Foster song lyrics presented to Doolan for his scholarship and deportment; an engraved ring and tie clasp; and a medal engraved with Doolan's name and grade point average. Also includes undated photos of buildings and activities. The newsletter was published weekly; this edition includes a tribute to Mary C. Caldwell, wife of Superintendent Peter Caldwell, who died in 1907. It also includes poetry, departmental notes, short stories and school reports.
