Scope and Contents This collection, which spans a period of more than one hundred years of Police Department history, was donated to the University of Louisville Archives by the Louisville Division of Police in 1977. Included are newspaper clippings, police instruction booklets and guides, a department payroll list, and early record books of the Mayor's Court and Police Court.
